Theme Compatibility

As of now, all of my themes are created on a Windows PC. Since I do not have a Mac, I cannot test my recently updated Firefox 3 themes to see how they operate on OSX. Has anyone tried my updated FF3 themes on a Mac? If so, how do they operate? I have read some things that suggest there may be some problems on Macs using themes built on he default Windows theme and on Windows using themes built on the default Mac theme.

Has anyone noticed any issues?

I am running Aero Fox 3.0.1 with Firefox 3 Beta 5 on Ubuntu 8.4. The theme works fine except that the words File, Edit, View, History, etc disappear when you hover over them. The functionality remains.

hey - nice work on the themes there!
i'm running aquatint gloss 3.0.1 / firefox 3b5 / osx 10.5.2 - everything seems to work good so far except the back and forward buttons. when you click on one of them it gives you a drop down list of choices instead of actually sending you back or forward

cheers~

Using on Mac OS X 10.5.2 with Firefox 3 CR 1, looks good except drop down folders in tool bar are white text on white backgrond so you can not see what is in the folders unless you hightlight them.

Can you please fix Aero Fox (Black Gloss) to have the "X" on the tabs? It's seriously irritating me to just right click and click "Close Tab" but please, fix the tabs. I'm getting sick of this right clicking, and that weird blankness where the "X" usually is.

I have the newer version of FF3 (downloaded today may 17th) and FF3 won't install the theme, says incompatible...

I'm using a MacBook Pro with 10.4.11 MAC OSX.

It looks good from the outside!!!

Keep up the good work.

I found a visual Bug with your theme that occurs when using the "Undo Closed Tabs" extension.

If you have the undo button on the Tab Bar, it makes the bar bigger and screws up the graphics.

I don't use this option and its really not that big a deal anyway, but I just thought I'd let you know.

Here's a screenshot.

Sorry, I forgot to add the link =]

This occurs when the checked box in the upper box of the screenshot is unchecked.

You do very nice work - have just switched to Firefox and quickly after added your Aquatint Black theme. Look the look and find it a bit more functional than FF default, too.

Now I want to zip up my Thunderbird, but ... no matter which theme I select, when I click to install I get an error message:

Invalid or corrupt jarfile
c:\users\Tom\Desktop/aquabird_black-1.05-tb(5).jar

Any thoughts on what this is about. I'm getting a similar message with every theme on TB, not just yours.

Anyone?

I realize I neglected to include:

I'm using Vista
My TBird is 2.0

I had the same issues downloading here at your site or at the TBird themes page.
thanks a million ~
Congratulations on new horizons.

And to wind up my trifecta -

I was able to get those installed on TBird after all, by going through a few back doors and rummaging around in the basement.

thanks ~ always better to figure it out oneself!

I really like your themes, but what if I want to go back to the regular tool bar? How would I do that?

I noticed that with the extension "tab mix plus" set with "multiple rows" for the tab bar the tabs change in appearance and size. Here is my configuration:

think it would be possible to create a blacktint version of aquatint? or silvertint? still a light skin, but a different tint, i guess? would look awesome IMO. as always, great job! i always load your theme on any Firefox browser i see, from mine to family to friends!
