Aero Fox

I created another dark theme using icons designed after the Windows Aero theme. If you like it, please go to the Sandbox in the Firefox Add-ons and leave me feedback so I can get this, along with my Zune theme, published.

I will start working on making all my themes available for FF3 when it is completed and released. It took a ton of time to bring all of these old themes up to date when FF2 came out so I am hoping that FF2 themes are more compatible with FF3 than FF1 were with FF2.

If you like this theme, could you do me a huge favor and leave a review and rating on the Firefox Add-on page in the Sandbox. They have made it really difficult to get themes published so if you do leave a review, could you please write what works, what doesn't, any issues or bugs... That would really help me out because I think this theme could be very popular.

This is a great looking theme.

About the upgrade, I have to say it's looking like about twice as much work to go from fx2 to fx3 as it was to go from 1.5 to fx2. imho.

Hi, this is great, I love it! Also installed this on my Ubuntu 7.10 machine (with default theme), but the colors in Options window look a bit odd. White colored font's foreground on light gray background is hardly readable. Otherwise, perfect.

When I use 'Large Fonts' for font size on Display Properties of Windows, Appearance tab, I do not see Firefox menu font changed. But other Themes like RedShift v2 allow me to see large fonts. Probably you can change the design to show large font on Firefox menus. Thanks, Harry

looks great but can you change it so ALL text and markings are white in this theme? Ie. the drop down arrow on the bookmarks toolbar. I cnt see it.

I enjoy this theme as well. It is one of the better ones out there. The only problem I have is I use the "GMail Manager" extension, and when the toaster pop up previewing my new mails comes up, I can not read the text because the text is white and a very light colored background.

Great theme. It works well with the Zune XP OS theme.

Some suggestions:

The history buttons on the forward & back buttons are hard to spot. I'd like to see them look like tiny blue buttons like the main forward / back buttons.

I'd love the refresh button to be a different color to improve legibility (instantly different than the other buttons without having to read the symbol (e.g. I can find it in perhipheral vision)).

Some links in dialogs show up light blue & look great with the grey background (e.g. Get Extentions link). Others come up in the universal bright blue (like del.icio.us dialogs) and are really hard to read against the dark grey. Would love all links to be like blue.

For me, the best theme for firefox. Unfortunatly I'm using FF3 b3 and cannot use your theme anymore...

In FF3 B4 the tabs don't show right...they are all one tab. Plus the search is all messed up. Everything else seems to be ok. Please fix it as this is one of the best themes for FF3!!!

I agree with KillerKellerjr, the tabs and the search bar is messed up, so if you can fix this, that would be great.

hi
the secure site favicon does not work. it is supposed to turn green when you go to a secure site but in your theme it does not.
eg. if you use the default theme to go to paypal.com, the favicon turns green. but if you use aero fox, only the name of the secure site appears, it does not turn green. pls update the theme. :)

Hello,

Thanks for updating Aero Fox for Firefox 3. I'm using it for one week now, and the combination with Firefox and you Aero Fox theme matches perfect. I've only one suggestion. Could you please narrow the white bar between the search bar and, for example, the google toolbar?

Thanks for your developments, keep it going!
